The Anti-Corruption Court imposed a monetary penalty on the defendant in the case of the former head of one of the government secretariat departments.
The Supreme Anti-Corruption Court imposed a monetary penalty on one of the defendants in the case of the former head of the Office of Administrative Houses of the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers Igor Novosel, accused together with Igor Gruzdev of extortion and receiving UAH 2 million in unlawful benefits.
This decision was made on December 14 VAKS, according to Word and Deed.
“To impose on the accused a monetary penalty in the amount of 2 subsistence minimums for able-bodied persons, which amounts to 5368 UAH. Explain that a person who was imposed a monetary penalty and was not present when this issue was considered by the court has the right to file a petition to cancel the ruling on imposing a monetary penalty on him. The petition is submitted to the court, which ruled to impose a monetary penalty,” the decision says.
Igor Novoselov was fined for extortion
